About Albany Samurai Arts

Albany Samurai Arts is New York’s only official Nami Ryu Aiki Heiho dojo. Our curriculum includes instruction in Japanese swordsmanship along with classical weaponry such as the tanto, jo, naginata and tessen.
These skills are applied directly to our Aiki-jujutsu, the ancient root art which Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Aikido are derived from.
